Various things
As I prepare to fuck off we get (as usual from on high with no preparation) an annoucement that management is restructuring central. The key take aways after reading the long PRish and yet poorly written note was my favorite MD is fucked and on her way out, and that the organisation is now entering a new, uniquely self destructive phase of running around like lunatics in panic because the iceberg ripped its guts open.
I consider myself a reasonably literate person, capable of some semblance of organisational thinking. I have to say, having reread the plans twice, or even three times, I am unable to discern the logic (or even how this ludicrous structure is supposed to effectively operate).
Ah well, no news really there, merely bemused at how bizarrely they are flailing about. But a fish rots from the head, and this particular head seems to have a deep penchant for creating ludicrously poorly thought through plans.
