Big Move Forward
Well, the word is in. The Fund has agreed I am more valuable in region than in the US of A. Major move forward in my negotiations for a bright new future.
Still a few wrinkles to address, such as compensation package. That can still break the deal. How much current cash versus potential interest in the Fund(s), and the like.
Still, feeling modestly confident this may work and I can jump off the Titanic.
Meanwhile, will be radio silent end of week. Have been invited to big wig shindig. Hmm, rhymes when I say it, but doesn't look like it rhymes. In any case, must sleaze. Lots of movement of late.

The Fund will let you stay in region but will they let you stay in country and, more importantly, in apartment?
I'd hate to see you locked away inside The Fund's compound ala BP in Egypt after 2001.

There is no compound, I would be setting up my own office, if this plays out.
