Well, it strikes me as unfair, but but calling the US Ambassador 'a chiseling little crook' and a 'used car salesmen' is pretty funny. Unfair and likely uncalled for, but it's pretty funny.
Livingston is of course a nut as well.

Well, yes.
It has lots of entertainment value, a certain panache when it was delivered..... and all around amusing.
I just had to note that is was probably uncalled for and perhaps even wrong (i.e. re the diplo obligation to pay up, although for all the whinging on NY and Americans in general were doing over the UN car fees (yes, yes, factually different, but Giulani was never this amusing either)).

He's not all mouth and no trousers, although the mouth and the trousers are often, shall we say, quite far apart. How about making him mayor of Cairo?
