Schadenfreude
Pursuant to the recent note re some utterly scummy changes in compensation regional (as opposed to expat) employees, one entire office has resigned. I loved the bland "resigned to pursue other opportunities" namby pamby rot. I myself wrote a longish note on chapter and verse as to how this was a completely bollixed idea.
Meanwhile, I have been at the beach returning myself to a more fashionable colour than post-chemo fishbelly dead. However, I am forced to note that my hair is coming back in vaguely blondish, which is most disconcerting.

Blondish.
That could work.

Will the real Slim Lounsbury please stand up?

My mother's came back curly, but eventually straightened again.
Blond might be nice though. A bit Rupert Brooke, perhaps?

a blonde L?
what has this world come to?!
do like all of the fashionable men in MENA and dye your hair jet black.

Precisely the solution under consideration. Blonde is bad.

Blonde is bad unless you're a surfer in California.
you'll have to make hair dye reccomendations once you've tried a few products out.

Blonde is fine, lovely even, but the key issue is complexion. Not sure L has the right skin tone to carry blonde properly.
That said, should be careful about slathering chemicals on your head (link). Perhaps demipermanent/rinse.

I dislike blond and complexion is not going to work.

It'll probably darken on its own soon. If you're determined to dye it, I'd suggest the gentlest dye you can find, maybe a darkening henna or a temporary dye. Nothing more embarrassing than roots, and I don't really see you as the type to get them touched up every month or whatever the regimin is.
