Bolsheviks
I have little to add to this, draw to my attention by Roger Bigod, discussion of another book on the incompetent and frankly Bolshevik approach of the Bush Administration. The observations meet mine, and ones I made at the time when I worked on Iraq financing. However, I can add that Dan Senor's editorial is typical of that lying Right Bolshy ideologue scumbag. People like him caused Iraq to fail. His commentary is typical, either utterly mendacious or delusional. Or both.

The third part of the series, on policies, is up here.
Part two was on the Green Zone as insulated bubble of americana. I had trouble getting indignant. It's a well known national characteristic.
I wanted to strangle the health care guy. People were dying like flies and he was spending his time dithering over a list of officially authorized drugs.

Yes, Chandrasekaran is madly pimping his book by writing wherever he can about CPA follies.
Not that it didn't work, I bought Emerald City last week. Still, rather exposes the drivers behind certain hot topics in the media.

Worked for me. I added it to the next pile from amazon.
Don't be too hard on pimps. If the oldest profession is prostitution, pimps are the originators of lifestyle marketing.
