Eid Moubarek Said

A little tardy, but I am working flat out.

However, the partners insist I go to some Eid hoopla and the woman has dressed me up in a new Eid outfit - look like a bloody Emir, although I do like the nice wool felting, so off I am.

So, Eid Moubarek Said to all - heathens, kufar, idiots and so forth.

Eid Mubarak to you too.

Didn't realize it was Eid until I needed something from a Muslim co-worker and noticed none of them were in.

Rather like the time you bitched about getting no answer from the US embassy when you called them on Thanksgiving...

Your Daily Fact About Islam:

"We'll have to see what happens here after Ramadan. I believe these people -- oh, I was going to tell you Abizaid believes Ramadan, no question, caused them to be more violent because he says there's some kind of reward during Ramadan for violence."
--President George W. Bush, interview 25 Oct, 2006

Isn't Eid the conclusion of Ramadan?

Posted by: Roger Bigod at October 27, 2006 05:06 AM

Yes, Eid el Fitr is the conclusion of Ramadan (or the beginning of Chaoual more properly).
