Memories, Anniversaries and Cancers
I have and will continue to be on a bit of a sabbatical until I get recharged - although I do expect that new US Administration shall revive my desire to comment on the idiocies of the Left in MENA. Nevertheless, today is an important day for me. Three years ago was a kick in a gut, funny when I posted that I thought I had some moderately deadly but merely annoying infection. What the hell, I had undergone emergency surgeries in places that would cause your average person to piss their fucking knickers. Not, I should say, that is particularly encouraging, but I can attest that having part of your guts cut out on an emergency basis is merely episodically scary (and I do say that having passed emergency surgeries in the plural where I rather worried if I might not see the next day for a major reason that facilities would curdle the blood of your average namby pamby 'developed market' asshole).

Is this a horrifying story you haven't told us about yet, or were those operations part of the cancer thing?
Either way, congratulations as before. Keep alive.

Here's at least one episode:
Perhaps one day I shall find someone to tell the story of me staggering into a hospital, in region, for surgery, with cash in hand, due to a small issue of a ruptured appendix. This time I am ahead of the game, a little blood, that's all.
Stiff upper lip and all that.
